- Salisbury, MD, USA

I person who identified herself as either Angel Williams or Agent Williams left a message on my phone from an "unknown" number saying she was contacting me in regards to a claim being filed by "the county" against my now dead ex-husband. She needed to make me aware that my name and address was listed as the location for him (even though he has not lived in my county for 15 years). She proceeded to say that my information would stay on file until Mr. (my ex's last name) contacted "the office filing the claim" to update his information. They gave a phone number to the office 866-581-4676 and a claim number he needed to give them. Additionally, they said that until this information was updated, Mr. (my ex's last name) would be located at my residence until otherwise notified. Upon looking up that number, I found that it was a toll free number owned by a company called Bandwidth. I reached out to them about a possible scam, and was told they would contact the owner of that number BB IT, LLC. I then looked that business up and it has no website and no other information other than what I found on an open corporate website which stated that their agent address was CSC of Delaware and yet gave a law firm's address based in Raleigh, NC as well as a head office address in Charlotte, NC that actually belongs to a UPS store.
