Scam call from fake facebook support at 844-607-8810
I am writing to report a scam that occurred while I was searching for help regarding a Facebook account support issue. While browsing online, I came across a page that claimed to provide Facebook customer support and displayed the phone number 844-607-8810. I called the number from 844-607-8810 believing it was legitimate. The person who answered stated that they were a Facebook support representative and said my account had security problems that needed immediate action. They convinced me to purchase Amazon gift cards as a verification and recovery fee. I lost $1367 after sharing the gift card details. They stopped responding and I realized it was a scam. I request you to investigate this number and help prevent others from becoming victims.
