I received a text from what I thought was my bank... they used the bank's name in the text. It said there was an attempted purchase and asked for me to reply yes to accept or no to decline. Immediately another number from Utah tried to call me 5 times in a row. I did not answer. That number is 801-610-7516.

When I contacted my bank they said there was nothing they could do because no money traded hands. I'm concerned that if other people, like the elderly, answer the call, they will give personal info that will lead to fraud and money loss.
