A woman called me by name and asked if I was related to a family member, so I said yes. Then she stated, "I'm not sure why we have your number she must've put you down as an emergency contact". When asked what the woman's name was and where she was calling from she just replied "Midland". I said, "Midland, what?" and then she finally said "Midland credit". When I asked what this was about and to repeat the name of the company she continued to just say "midland" as if I was supposed to know what that was and stated she couldn't disclose what the call was about for privacy reasons. She then asked me to provide her with a "good Contact number" for my sister which I refused. Then the lady tried again to "ask" for her number but I refused because if they have business with her then they should have her number on file without needing me to confirm it so why they called mine is beyond me. They asked again for her number and when I refused for a second time they reiterated that my sister needed to contact her regarding a matter. The number that they contacted me with was 1-800-890-8450 but then she gave me this number to pass to my sister which was 1-877-890-2924. I called both numbers and it states "user busy" and doesn't even ring. The entire call was sketchy and felt like a very deliberate attempt to have me provide them with her number as if they never had it to begin with so they could contact her personally for a scam.
