Scammer called as Fraud detection and Prevention unit of Chase Credit card. To gain trust - he talked about 2 fraud charges on my chase credit card that he sees and wants to check / help to see if I made those. He had details of all my last transactions on card, payment dues and last payment made for my 2 Chase credit card. He had information on me to credentialize that its him. He asked me to punch numbers on phone to ascertain if my Cell number is in Verizon's Phone Number compromised list (*72-406-602-1233). I believe he used this to take out data from my phone. He wouldn't let me keep or disconnect the call and kept me busy in resolving my issue. He asked my card and personal information as he wanted to ascertain I physically have the card and I am not imposter who made the transactions.

The name provided was "Enrique Rodrigues, Batch No : MLS092488) and call back number : 406-635-1827.

Someone did pick the call when I wanted to check : so its real number which they pickup.

As I became suspicious - I called Chase and let them know. The cards have been cancelled and additional security for access put in place.

Also I have called Credit Bureaus to put an fraud alert on my account. Verizon couldn't help much as its business cell number from my employer. I have informed them aswell.

I want to report this if you can investigate them through the phone numbers the called. Happy to help in anyways to comprehend these scammers.
