I have never had an AT&T account or contract. Don’t know how they acquired my ssn. They left a message on my phone from (562) -2026794. They had a former address , however I have not lived there since 2013 yet the number they called me on has never been associated with that address. They’ve called me the last 3 days from different phone numbers. I called the number above. They said they had a case number 24-61468. As I stated earlier I’ve never had an AT&T contract nor have I ever tried to defraud them or any other business. Why would they use my phone number that’s never been associated with that address I don’t know. I predict they will call again but I won’t answer or call back. Is there anything I can do to protect myself ?
