Caller from 337-429-0831 identified himself as law enforcement. Told me that I had charges pending due to not showing up for jury duty.

I knew from the start it was a scam, but I can understand why some people will be taken in by this person. The man had a tone like law enforcement, very direct.

He told me his name and badge number(which isn’t real) and even used some real information like giving the real address to the sheriff’s department. I told him I would just go down to the department and get the situation taken care of, instead of over the phone. That’s when he got verbally abusive with me, saying that they would show up to my home or job and arrest me. I laughed and then he cussed me out.
