I recently bought a condo. This company sent me a letter in the format that mimics a governmental or bill collecting agency asking me for $123 to get a copy of my current Grant Deed and a Property Assessment Profile.

I received a letter to procure a service fee to obtain copies of deeds and records about properties owned by me with a deadline in two weeks to pay 123 dollars. These can be obtained in anyone’s home town hall for little to no fee.

This is a scammer letter asking you pay $123.00 to obtain a copy of your property deed. They have my correct name, address of the property, year property built etc. They list a phone number 1-888-959-1204 but no website or email address.

I received a solicitation from Property Site asking for $118 to get a copy of our recorded deed. It's highly misleading. I thought at first I owed the county money until I looked over the fine print. Clearly, this company is counting on people to not pay attention and pay this fee. Feels predatory to me.

Note: In your form, you ask for the scammers email address, but in this case they did not leave an email. The form doesn't allow one to skip that question, so I had to make up an email address to be able to move forward in the questions...

They said I should get a copy of a new grant deed to my home with additional info about my property. I thought it was official since my home title had just been transferred. I tried to cancel and they hung up. I assume it is a scam.
