My Facebook account had been disabled and I called a number I thought was legitimately the Facebook help center, I have no idea how i ended up calling a fake one. But they said someone was using my accounts to make these purchase and I had to follow these steps to verify that I'm the account owner. They had me do a cash app transaction that was immediately refunded to help me think it was legit before instructing me through a bitcoin purchase at an ATM. They said if I didn’t complete this transaction to verify my identity/be refunded I would be held responsible for any outstanding charges associated with my credentials
