They wanted to inform me about a matter regarding my mortgage with a lender and offered some "Allocated Waiver" (fake) in blue with property code. They also seem to be able to speak Spanish, as they offered "se habla espanol" at the same number.

Got a letter in the mail with what looked like a check at the bottom. Letter said final notice also said this letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding your property at (our address) secured by your current lender, which is (our lender we used) please call immediately as this will be our final attempt to notify you 1 – 888–7775. I called them and was told that we signed a warranty with them at closing and the one year free warranty was up and we were responsible for the next three years to pay and keep the warranty. I gave them my card info thinking I had no choice but to sign up Because while on the phone, I asked the guy if we had to continue the service and he said yes, because we signed at closing. Immediately called my realtor after the phone call and was informed we did not sign any warranty with them. They just use public information In an unethical way to sign you up with their services.
