Same experience as previous person. Got a check for $199 saying final attempt. The check was for my son who just bought his house one month ago. Glad I checked this site and the review.

I received a "check" in the mail for $199 informing me of an important matter regarding my property. States it is secured by the current lender Wells Fargo Na and to call immediately as this will be the final attempt to notify me. Also, at the bottom on the alleged check which has no account number or routing number, it is not affiliated with Wells Fargo Bank na and it is not a check. I know this is a scam as my home has been paid off for years. No name of a company on the envelope or what it is regards to, just a phone number of 1-888-512-0195.
