Warranty expiration is based on the mileage and age of your Subaru, Isuzu, Mazda Call now to update your coverage

Your file on this vehicle will be deleted and you may no longer be eligible for this offer regarding service coverage after (date stated)"

We have received more than one of these letters since buying a car a month ago.

I received a notice in the mail that says the following. Personally identifiable info is redacted with filler text explaining what it was surrounded in [square brackets] and any necessary comments or clarifications will be formatted similarly.

The front reads:

VEHICLE ALERT NOTICE

**Please Respond Within 5 Business Days**

OWNER ID #: [number; unsure if it's accurate, can't be bothered to check my glove box and compare]

VEHICLE OWNER: [my first and last name]

VEHICLE: [make and model of my car]

DEADLINE: [10 days after I received the notice in the mail]

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE

Your immediate response is requested

[my mailing address]

The back reads:

TIME SENSITIVE

YOUR VEHICLE'S FACTORY WARRANTY MAY BE ABOUT TO EXPIRE OR HAS RECENTLY EXPIRED BASED ON AGE OR MILEAGE

NOTIFICATION DEADLINE: [10 days after I received the notice in the mail]

[My first name],

This NOTICE is to inform you that the factory warranty on your [make and model of my car] may have expired or is about to expire. PLEASE CALL WITHIN 5 business days; as this notice will expire by the deadline date.

Call to confirm receipt of this notification as soon as possible. If you go without coverage, you will be responsible for all repairs in the event of a breakdown. If you do not contact us by the deadline date, you risk not qualifying for coverage.

I got a small card in the mail claiming my vehicle's warranty was going to expire soon and that I needed to call within the next 5 days to qualify for continued coverage. The name of the sender was mostly unshown, taken up by asterisks.
