Scammer from 1(888) 400-4570 pretended to be Air New Zealand reservations. Told me that my flight was not yet confirmed and that I would need to pay to get it reconfirmed. I knew that was not correct and reported the scam phone number to Google.

He cancelled the upgraded seats for my flight for which I paid extra, costing me $1160. When I arrived at the airport - none of us had seats. The airline was able to re-assign seats, but in a lower cabin for 2 of us.

Note: As of today, Air NZ is refunding the upgraded seat cost back to me.
