Mail from "Vehicle Services Division" saying Final Notice for vehicle coverage on my car model. I had not previously gotten any notice about my car or from them. Says I have to respond by 4/8/2025 or "you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs". The letter gave me a Record ID, phone number *1-888-307-2075, "Registration Fee Voucher" for $299.00, that I was to send to an address they did not provide. Envelope marked with stamp saying it was "Mailed from St. Louis, MO" and the US Postage Paid Permit #5497.

It is a letter mailed from the St. Louis area, and it says that the warranty on my 2020 Kia optima has expired and I need to call the phone number to start a service contract.

- Gowen, MI, USA • Jan 17, 2025

Letter via mail with "Response to this Notice Requested" in bold right above my name and address. In bold upon opening is "Immediate Service Requested". Document indicates that the factory warranty on my vehicle has expired and I have not contacted them to have my vehicle service contract activated. It emphasizes that I will be responsible for paying any repairs, but I can still activate my service contract before it's too late. It lists the correct year, make, and model of my vehicle, and almost the correct first nine digits and letters of my VIN, but it's not exact, and the last digits and letters are only indicated by stars.

Document only lists a phone number, no official company name, address, or person name. Fine print near bottom says "All service contracts are through Evercare Direct."

Letter came in an envelope without any identifying information except an inked on mark for the stamp labeled "Prsrtd Std US Postage PAID Mailed from 63155 Permit 5497"

James Conrad, a program coordinator with tel:1-888-307-2075 sent me a letter to an address where I never lived at(my ex-girl friend lives at the address they used). They contacted me about a car that is not mine, but they mentioned my real full name. They told me I need to get my service contract up-to-date. This is the second time they did this to me knowing that I never owned the car they mentioned and I never lived at the address they are sending me letters to. I hang up the phone on them. They intentionally keep sending letters to places where I don't live at.

Initial maling sent with time sensitive stamped on it. Also had personal address, make, model and year of car, partial vin # to seem official. Called the number and shared updated address, and current mileage of car. Also had approval number on the mailing that was used to identify me when I called. I declined to move forward when they aske for my credit card information. They mentioned that I could use a credit card if I didn't have the money today and when I declined a second time they hung up.

Recieved a letter with a fake check for" Registration Fee Voucher" for $199.00. The letter stated

:Thisletter is to inform you that the vehicle coverage on your car may be expiring or may have already expired. Please call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-888-307-2075. PLEASE RESPOND BY :3/29/2024.

..the letter gives a notice date, phone #, record id # and operating hours.

So, most of what I've stated have practically been no information on the scammer at all, and that's because they gave me no information other than their phone number. It was sent through postal mail stating that I need to call them to activate my vehicle service contract. If I did call them, I'd likely have way more information for you guys such as their supposed company, how much money they want from me, etc., however, I'd much prefer to avoid doing that as it can cause more scammers to target me. Their phone number has been in used for a few years now surprisingly, as I saw it when I looked online on a reddit post talking about it two years ago, so maybe nobody has yet to report this yet. Although I am at fault for that too since I've been getting this postal mail scam for at least a year now and didn't choose until now to report it. But yes, 1-888-307-2075 is their number, and it is the only information I have of them. And they do give me a deadline and make their message a bit threatening.
