Received two letters with my car’s year, make, and model but the only visible business name is Eleras Group on the temporary vehicle protection identification card included in the letter. Tabitha Jones is listed as Program Director.

- Cincinnati, OH, USA • Aug 07, 2025

Received a letter in the mail from "Tabitha Jones, Program Coordinator". She knew what car I recently bought and said I need to purchase a new warranty for it. The letter arrives in an "official" looking envelope with pre-paid postage. Permit number 1209, zipcode 23231. The letter was from the "vehicle services division". It said I needed to call 1-888-307-2075 to get coverage for "Engine, Transmission, Transfer Unit 4x4, Drive Axle Assembly, Front and rear suspension, steering, air conditioning unit, electronics, seals, gaskets, brake system, high tech electrical syatsem, and more."

Fake auto warranty services saying my warranty is expired.

- Kingsport, TN, USA • Jul 25, 2025

I received a letter in the mail with no return address asking for my car's VIN and mileage. "ATTENTION: Please call 1-888-307-2075 with VIN and current mileage before Aug. 4, 2025. Our records indicate that you have not contacted us regarding the vehicle service contract up-to-date. By neglecting to activate your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any all repairs after your factory warranty expires. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's too late. Final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. This may be our only attempt to contact you about activating your vehicle service contract. Tabitha Jones, Program Coordinator." NO return address, clear indicator of company/agency, no email or website. Only a phone number and request for personal information.

- Dayton, OH, USA • Jun 23, 2025

Received a final notice for vehicle information. This notice was mailed to the community college I work for. The body paragraph contains:

"This letter is to inform you that the vehicle voerage on your 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 may be expiring or may have already expired.

Our records indicate that you have not contacted us yet to get your coverage up to date.

Without a vehicle protection plan in place, you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's too late. No Inspection will be required and final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements."

Below the text, it includes what appears to be a registration fee voucher for $299.00.

I got a letter twice about my 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EU LT called RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED. I don't know who it is from, but it says to respond to 1-888-307-2075. There is no return address, no company name. I wonder how they got my car's information which looks pretty accurate. I see the beginning of the VIN, for example. 'Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract activate..' Some fine print says "All service contracts are through Evercare Direct."

Received a letter in the mail:

"Please call 1-888-307-2075 with the VIN and current mileage before May 15, 2025. Our records indicate that you have not contacted us regarding the vehicle service contract on your vehicle. By neglecting to activate your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's too late. Final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements.

Mail from "Vehicle Services Division" saying Final Notice for vehicle coverage on my car model. I had not previously gotten any notice about my car or from them. Says I have to respond by 4/8/2025 or "you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs". The letter gave me a Record ID, phone number *1-888-307-2075, "Registration Fee Voucher" for $299.00, that I was to send to an address they did not provide. Envelope marked with stamp saying it was "Mailed from St. Louis, MO" and the US Postage Paid Permit #5497.

- Gowen, MI, USA • Jan 17, 2025

Letter via mail with "Response to this Notice Requested" in bold right above my name and address. In bold upon opening is "Immediate Service Requested". Document indicates that the factory warranty on my vehicle has expired and I have not contacted them to have my vehicle service contract activated. It emphasizes that I will be responsible for paying any repairs, but I can still activate my service contract before it's too late. It lists the correct year, make, and model of my vehicle, and almost the correct first nine digits and letters of my VIN, but it's not exact, and the last digits and letters are only indicated by stars.

Document only lists a phone number, no official company name, address, or person name. Fine print near bottom says "All service contracts are through Evercare Direct."

Letter came in an envelope without any identifying information except an inked on mark for the stamp labeled "Prsrtd Std US Postage PAID Mailed from 63155 Permit 5497"

- Charlotte, NC, USA • Jan 16, 2025

- Castle Hayne, NC, USA • Jan 08, 2025

The letter has no sender address, email, or business name. But it is telling me my service contract has not been activated and I need to call today. It has personal information in the letter.

James Conrad, a program coordinator with tel:1-888-307-2075 sent me a letter to an address where I never lived at(my ex-girl friend lives at the address they used). They contacted me about a car that is not mine, but they mentioned my real full name. They told me I need to get my service contract up-to-date. This is the second time they did this to me knowing that I never owned the car they mentioned and I never lived at the address they are sending me letters to. I hang up the phone on them. They intentionally keep sending letters to places where I don't live at.

- Toccoa, GA, USA • Dec 02, 2024

- Salem, MA, USA • Nov 14, 2024

Initial maling sent with time sensitive stamped on it. Also had personal address, make, model and year of car, partial vin # to seem official. Called the number and shared updated address, and current mileage of car. Also had approval number on the mailing that was used to identify me when I called. I declined to move forward when they aske for my credit card information. They mentioned that I could use a credit card if I didn't have the money today and when I declined a second time they hung up.
