I purchased a new philips tv and downloaded the roku app. The app has you scan a qr code, once you scan the qr code a number pops up that say you need to call that nunber in order to finish setting up your account. The scammer who answerwd the phone stated they were going to assist me in completing setting up my account, they asked me which plan i wanted to purchase then requested a form of payment. At that time i provided my debit card information. After receiving my payment information the scammer provided his name, phone number and the name of the company.
