I searched U.S. passport/Post Office. I was attempting to get my first ever U.S. Passport. I honestly thought I was working with a partner website or a website affiliated with the U.S. Post Office. I submitted all my person information including my SSN, etc., and they said all I would have to do was take the form that I would receive from them to my local post office and submit a photo. This was done on March 4 and my credit card was charged $183.55 on March 4 as well. Today, on March 7 I received some documents from United Passport. All it was, was a printed PDF form application of my information that I could have gotten for free at the post office. Plus instructions on how to submit it to the Post Office and how I would have to submit another $130 to the Post Office. Consequently, after being scammed for $183.55, I'm no closer to obtaining a valid U.S. passport.
