We received a letter addressed to the Kujawa Family Trust, which we have set up through an attorney. One of the accounts in the trust are monies deposited with the Oak Creek, WI branch of Landmark Credit Union.

The letter indicated that we have a reverse mortgage with Landmark and that a policy on this reverse mortgage is about to lapse. The letter urged us to call them before March 2, 2026 or our coverage will expire.

We DO NOT have a reverse mortage with Landmark or any other financial institution. We reported this scam letter to Landmark Credit Union and they verified that it is a scam.

Received a suspicious notice demanding a call to 1-877-913-1764

I received a notice from an unknown company, 1(877) 913-1764, that said I needed to phone this number 1-877-913-1764 before Feb. 21 "in order to avoid unnecessary delays in my coverage." There is no company name, but the name of my bank that has secured my mortgage was listed. The letter ends with saying it is from Andy Perkins, Program Director at 1-877-913-1764. I believe this is a scam and needs to be reported in order to protect others.
