I was contacted by text from a recruiter named Dayren Rodriguez about a remote job opportunity from William Hare Group as a remote office assistant. I was clear with them that I did not meet all their requirements, but they were willing to hire me anyway. Only after we began talking about the job on teams did they reveal that they expected me to purchase $12,652 worth of equipment from their vendor and no one else on the guarantee that an unknown package arriving in several days would have a check in it for $4,850 and they would reimburse me for the remaining $7,802 eventually. They were unwilling to discus how to return the equipment if I should leave or loose the job in the future. When I made it clear that I was unable to do that, or even a partial payment of just $2000 or $5000 the recruiter stopped talking to me.
