I've received several postal letters/messages from 1(866) 202-1636 after purchasing a vehicle in November of 2025. This looks to be posing as a warranty that I have not fully completed filling out (beyond what I've already purchased when I bought the vehicle). It looks like they are trying to look as though they are part of the factory warranty even though they are not. They have sent several messages in which the tone is stating that I need to urgently contact them to "have my vehicle service contract activated". The wording is misleading and could very much make someone who is unaware think that they did not complete the insurance coverage that they may have already purchased. This scam appears to be predatory on those who think they have not activated their car warranty.

The pink post card from 1(866) 202-1636 came in the mail addressed to me using my full name. The card stated that I had not contacted them to activate my vehicle service contract and that it was urgent that I contact them to “activate my protection program”.

Since i had recently purchased a vehicle I was not sure of the issue and researched the phone number the card gave to call. I came across this ScamPulse.com site describing the same issue and same card just a different vehicle as a scam.

Thanks for saving me from a scam.

Final Notice

- Clearwater, FL, USA • Dec 29, 2025

I refused to provide information and I ask to be removed from their list because they appear to be the Department of motor vehicle acting as a final notice and he tried to explain to me. He wants to sell me a warranty on behalf of the motor vehicle vehicle.

A bright pink postcard from St. Louis, MO, permit No. 495 , saying my service vehicle contract had not been activated. Asked me to call the phone number immediately to activate a protection program. The dealer I bought the car from says I do have a warranty and there is no need for me to call the phone number.
