The individual from 1(838) 202-1618 called claiming to be my bank’s fraud dept. He said his name was Ryan Fields and gave me my email address, last 4 of my SSN, my DOB “as proof” he was from my bank. He attempted to get a pin from me as well as approve a fraudulent charge “as part of the process” to re-link my phone to the text alerts since the scammers added their email and phone to my account. When I asked to call my bank back because I was unsure, he became agitated and the high pressure tactics began- demanding that I finish or else my bank would not beheld liable for any transactions at that time. He hung up once I told him that I was calling my bank from another phone to confirm he was who he says he was.
