I am reporting a targeted scam done to my elderly and disabled mother. A person name " Roberto Jimenez" at extension "8002" called to say my mother owe $499.98 from her utility bill. He coherse my mother to drive to the nearest Walmart while on the call to make the payment to an account he would provide once she was there. He wanted her to not hang up the phone until she would arrive. Also, he said she only had twenty minutes to get there. Since my mother is disabled she can't drive and so she decided to hang up and call me but not until unfortunately she gave her debit card number because this man said BPUB were arriving to cut her services. It's sad this happened to my mother and I hope that by reporting this incident, other persons, especially elderly and/or disabled persons don't fall victims of this scam.
