Consumer Rights- FDCPA: debt collector must identify themselves & purpose for call

Supposed debt collector. Wanted me to identify myself but was violating my consumer right by not identifying themselves as a debt collector, nor establishing that any information collected is for use of (alleged) debt collection. All they said was they had business with me. Lol. Once informed about FDCPA law, they acted like they never heard of it. Maybe they’ll recognize the FDCPA once they start getting hit with lawsuit after lawsuit.
Hello consumers! once you verbally address a debt collector to cease contact with you via telephone calls, if they continue to call you- that’s a violation of your consumer rights and you can sue. Read your consumer rights. These people are leaches hoping nobody is knowledgeable of the rights given to all.
