Saw an Advertisement for remote data entry position, applied, downloaded BiP messenger for them, went through their interview and answered all questions asked and got a job offer letter.

I accepted, was told about software requirements and told I would be shipped materials needed after required software was purchased and set up. They told me they were sending an echeck for mobile deposit for $2500, which they did. I tried to deposit (declined by my bank 2 times). After this they sent me a smaller check via email for $400 to see if ny bank would deposit- I didn’t try to this time. After that happened the employment offer was terminated
