The scammer pretended to impersonate a sheriff that I knew from my criminal case, sounding just like him and claiming I miss my appointment I had scheduled with him involving my criminal case and possibility of getting some of my time I needed to serve lower down even more if I come to this appointment and knew all the information about my case which I knew nothing about going to any appointment. But claims a certified letter about this appointment was delivered to my house and that I sign it and agree that I knew about appointment and that I would attend to the appointment. I then told the scammer I didn't sign anything or knee anything about a appointment. He then said I would have to come to the sheriff office and give my signature to see if it matches the signature on the letter. But it would take a few days to review the signature so I would put in jail until it was proven to be my signature or not. But if I didn't want to spent time in jail to they were done reviewing the signature I could go to a kiosk at any store that has one and put money in machine that would cover my bond that I needed to pay to keep me out of jail before I go to sheriff office to give my signature to match the signature they supposedly had of mine. He stay on phone with me the whole time and wanted my mileage before leaving and when getting to the store and wanted it again before leaving store, and I was not allow to hang up from him. But unfortunately I did exactly everything he told me to do. I stay on the phone with him and had my parents drive me to the bank and to the store and follow his instructions at kiosk machine and put all the money he requested for the bond into the machine. In process of this my father didn't it seem right so he call the sheriff's office which then told him it was a scam.
