I received a phone call asking for a payment from a payday loan from 2019. The company was total remediation and they gave a number of 417-922-9582 but would not provide location due to potential threats. They did know my dob and last 4 digits of ssn. I told them it was fraud and asked for address so I could file with the police report that I started a week ago. He claimed he was a supervisor but I told him I know this is fraud. They attempted to say I refused to pay in an attempt to get be to pay urgently. I refused and he hung up. I put a freeze all 3 credit bureaus as they had information they should not have had.
