Letter claims to be from the "Finance Department, Enrollment / Disbursement Division" of...nothing. It's a department / division with literally no company name. It does, however, read that they have been a reliable partner to numerous Connecticut residents. They "offer" a $9,000 loan for credit consolidation. I do have over $9,000 in loans currently as I am moving across the country, and I do live in Connecticut, so it's highly suspicious that they have my information. I don't know where it would have been leaked. But beware. If you're confused how some random "company" knows how much debt you have, they are either a) guessing, or b) getting your information illegally, which should tell you all you need to know. Don't call them.

Funding and Disbursement of Live checks. The checks are invalid. They send a legitimate looking check with your name and home address. This company claim to work independently with remedy and help people repair their depts with APR 6% or lower rates. It’s an obvious scam. Be careful everyone

They sent a letter claiming to be a consolidation loan company for credit relief saying they can give me up to $9,000 and my payment would be just under $200 a month. The letter looked somewhat legitimate until you open it and there's only a phone number provided for English or Spanish speakers with no website no address no actual company name. When you Google it the phone number is attached to some company The website says it is an IT company but nothing about debt relief or the name remedy. Website says it has six employees and brings in one to 10 million dollars a year lol which I'm sure if that was true they wouldn't be out here scamming people. Bad enough they have my name and address, I'm not sure what other information they have because I did not call the number but did a Google search on the phone number.

I got a notice in the mail about consolidating my credit debt into one payment with a lower apr. I called the number after finding nothing about it online, and was told it was through Remedy Helpers. Working independent from any credit company. The person said they were the senior debt counsellor named gregg, and told me if i worked with their program i could invalidate my debt which would make it illegal for capital one or a debt collector to attempt to collect the amount owed. He said they use a program thru panamericanconsulting.com and gave me that website to "check the ScamPulse.com credibility and reviews to see its not phishy, im not in the business of scamming people" he claimed i could essentially invalidate my debt and walk away from it without being sued, said it would return my credit score to the 700s in 12 months and any negative marks on my credit account would be removed. It feels illegitimate and i declined to give my email and phone number, also was prompted to let him sign into my capital one and see "how my numbers look and what he could do to help". I am currently doing a payment plan with capital one and thought this was a legit offer to lower and consolidate my payments but I am unable to confirm if this is even legal and legit. The number on the letter i recieved in the mail doesnt register to any related company online, it shows an IT company called Presilient based out of colorado and this man said he worked in Ohio for Remedy Helpers. He offered to send me links via phone and email but this felt like an info grab, he already has my name and address and now knows I have an account through capital one. I called under a *67 so i am unsure if they got my phone number or if it was actually made private but i am concerned and uncertain about the legitimacy or the call, debt invalidation offer, and mail.
