Received an EOB from BCBS regarding two separate "equipment" charges totaling just under $5,000 that were not covered by insurance and submitted through Youngmans Equipment LLC. A quick google search shows me that this company is known for this type of behavior.

on 6/5/26 we received a postal letter dated 5/27/26 from our BCBS insurance advising us that they are in an extended review of a claim that was filed with them by Youngmans Equipment LLC on 4/28/2026 for a supposed service date of 01/05/26 thru 02/11/26, in the amount of $3,720. This is a fraudulent claim, apparently filed using our insurance information. I am presuming the claims are for durable medical equipment. We've neither requested nor received anything from them, nor have any of our medical providers. We hadn't known of this provider before receiving this letter. Upon googling them, I see they appear to have a website and are located in Richardson TX.
