This was an ad on Instagram. It advertised itself as a companion app to help facilitate sobriety. Everything advertised said it was targeted therapy based on a survey you take. Many questions later it asks for your email in order to share with you the results of the comprehensive survey to see "what type of drinker you are" so it can help facilitate the best protocol for helping you stop. They then ask for you to subscribe with a credit card and an upfront payment to "unlock" the results of your survey. After payment, I did not receive this information. After visiting the app I also discovered there was no customization even with the direct link from my email. I cancelled immediately. Now they are saying you have to have completed 7 lessons in order to receive a refund even though they do not provide a custom service as they advertised.

I clicked on an app called Work with Shadow that stated it would offer a 30 day trial for its services and asked for a credit card number to verify the account saying after the 30day trial it would begin billing. I filled out some of the initial information but then quickly decided this wasn't something I wanted to be involved with and closed the account. I was then subsequently billed...and I'm just now learning that I have been billed multiple times by this company without authorization! I found multiple people complaining about this same company doing this to them as well. I had to close my card out and have it reissued. Now I need to be reimbursed for all the money they have stolen from me.
