The text said there is information about my upcoming prescription.

"Hi, my name is Ava from your insurer, name. I am here with an important update on your medication. To confirm, text YES if this is 'my name here'" Followed by the URL that contained a the insurer name with extra letters in it.

I responded "YES" to the question about having the correct individual. Then I was sent a text for me to schedule a call.

I then responded with "I think you are a scam and I'm reporting this text." Ava immediately replied with "Thank you. You have been successfully unsubscribed from this campaign."
