I got a call from Gretchen Banks with vital processing service. Saying I had an out standing dept and they are going to serve me with court papers, foreclose on my house and garnish wages. The claimed to have sent me papers and warnings to the address I live at and I never got anything. They had some info correct and others not. This is telling me my info was in a data breach. Also the card she was referring to was a card that was fraudulently open over 15 years ago and resolved and closed (which I still have all the Correspondence for and paper work). I am not the only one she is calling and doing this to because the amount she told me is the same amount as other complainants. I also had this same convo with her back in December and she didn’t even remember that. I told her again for a second time if this was legit serve me the papers. She told me I needed to calm down and that this matter was serious and I again said serve me and hung up.

I received a voice mail from from a phone number listed as 269-218-0425 and someone claiming to work for Vital Processing Services that stated "Hi, this message is for "My Name" and this is Gretchen Banks from Vital Processing Services. We have received a formal complaint against you and we are adding additional fees, we want to provide you with the opportunity to address the matter before the attorneys move forward with this complaint. Again my name is Gretchen Banks I with Vital Processing Services, I can be reached at 470-788-0548."

When I called back Gretchen stated that the complaint was a breach of contract related to an old debt of $6255.00 that originated from Household Bank and includes late fees included. I asked when the "complaint" originated and she stated it was a contract from 2011. I stated that I did not have an account with that bank, and she stated that Household Bank is just a wholesale bank that could be "related to a credit line with groups like Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Best Buy, places like that". She explained that her compony would like to work with me before they took me to court and explained that I could pay $2450 to settle this matter. I asked is she could not provide proof the the debt and why I had not received any initial correspondence on the matter? No proof could be provided. However, when I asked this line of questioning she indicated she could send it to an email that I do not recognize and never belonged to me, that she said was an email they "had on file". She further threatened that the attorneys would seek to garnish my wages.

Overall this caller looked to have more information and was seeking additional information about my history, however the only information this call had that was currently accurate was my phone number and name. A former address they "had on file" was also inaccurate, same as the email address they claimed.

I filed bankruptcy in 2017 in state of Michigan. I filed on everything. When he(Scott) called he tried to get me to confirm my last 4 social. I refused. I asked him for case number and he said without verifying the last 4 of my social he couldn't give that to me. I told him I filed bankruptcy and he was harrowing me. He said this debt he was calling about was not on my bankruptcy but couldn't tell me where I filed bankruptcy at. So I told him I would give my lawyer his number and hung up. The number that calls directly to his desk is 404-850-9338

When I called a number that calls around the same time of day that “Gretchen” calls the person claimed to be with VPN litigation specialist and acted like they were going to look into “Gretchen”. Wondering if there is a correlation?
