I got a text pretending to be The Virgina Department of Transportation, even though I have never been to Virginia. The text alerted me of a pending toll amount of $3.99. This text then sent me a link to a website of EZ-Pass New York. The website was based out of Shenzhen, China, and Santa Clara, California. The number which I got the text from is based out of The Democratic Republic of the Congo, a country in Central Africa.
