Vescony Inc Reports & Reviews (12)

Update 7-2-20
I was able to contact the host of the website they use. The company is Dealersync and my understanding is they need a dealer license to be a member, and this allows them the website and the ability to post on Facebook Marketplace. The risk guy from Dealersync is in the process of trying to shut down the website, as it seems the license was fake. If they shut it down, the website will be gone, and so will their ability to post scam ads under this name. Dealersync is also notifying the Boston PD Cyber Crimes group about the scams. I hope this stops them, or at least shuts them down for a while.

My tale is extremely similar to what everyone here is saying. Saw a listing for a 2011 Jeep Liberty. Same tale as everyone else. Thankfully my bank prevented me from being an [censored] and blowing half of my savings.

SAME STORY - SCAM.

Hi ,

So as I was telling you in my first email, we are now living in Augusta, Maine to get some peace of mind. I have to focus on my daughter's needs and make this transition less frightening than already is. That's why I chose to deal with eBay because it allows me to take care of things easily. The vehicle is now sitting in Augusta as well, at an eBay storage facility. With eBay, I can send it to you for 5 days to try it out, while they keep your money in a trust fund account. If after the 5th day you want it, they release the money to me, if not, you send it back for free and get your money back as well. The shipping is free. If you want to hear more details on it, please send me your full name, address, with the zip code and phone number. I will have eBay to send you the invoice, which is proof of legal and safety measures taken in this transaction. I hope to get your info and thank you for your understanding. My hubby took very well care of the vehicle and I hope it ends in good hands!

> Where can I view and inspect it? I will not purchase unless I see it in person and assume if it is on eBay you subscribe to their rules of making the vehicle available.

It is in great shape. it has no damage, no scratches, dents or hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained. It has 83,510 and clean title. It has 7.3L V8 Engine, diesel fuel and automatic transmission. All 4 tires have 95% life and match and are load correct. The bottom of the doors, rain gutters, rockers, corner cabs, tail gate gutters, etc are all not only rust free but even the paint is like new. Everything works great, it was recently professionally detailed interior and exterior. I am selling it at this final price of $2,000 because my husband passed away last month and it brings me a lot of bad memories and that’s the reason I want to sell it asap... I also got a new job and moved to Augusta, ME and many other things have priority now so it has to go. I attached you some photos. I want to use eBay Services for both our safety, so if you're interested in purchasing this vehicle just email me your full name, address including the zip code and phone number. I will inform eBay that you are selected as my possible buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

THE AD SAYS VESCONY AUTO SALES - THERE IS NO SUCH PLACE. NUMBER IS FAKE. THERE HAS TO BE A WAY TO STOP THESE PEOPLE.

Same experience as the others. Facebook marketplace listings showing really low prices for vehicles for a dealership named Vescony Inc. Boston. Got the same email response with slight variations from [email protected]. Same thing about husband dying, moved to Maine, want to go through Ebay services, etc. Not sure how they aren't completely banned from Facebook Marketplace, or investigated by local authorities in Boston.

to me

Hello!
I am the owner of the 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged. I had it advertised nationwide through Vescony Inc. It is still available for sale. It is in great shape. it has no damage, no scratches, dents or hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained. It has 66,500 and clean title. It has 5.0L V8 Engine, gasoline fuel and automatic transmission. Air Conditioning, Climate Control, Cruise Control, Tinted Windows, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Leather Steering Wheel, Power Drivers Seat, Power Passenger Seat, Memory Seat Position, Rear Air Conditioning. Everything works great, it was recently professionally detailed interior and exterior. I am selling it at this final price of $3,000 because my husband passed away last month and it brings me a lot of bad memories and that’s the reason I want to sell it asap...
I look forward to your answer.

LETS CALL OUR EXCELLENT ATTY GENERAL AND SHUT THESE FAKER[censored]ERS DOWN ASAP! I’m all in as I want to buy an advertised vehicle, but can’t get a response. Mark (former ethical Honda salesman). Hanover Mass. 7746066867.

Completely false advertising on both website and Facebook marketplace, stealing other peoples listings from EBay and autotrader, significantly marking down prices in order to phish information from [censored]ic customers. I spoke to one of the people who’s listing he stole from eBay for a Dodge Ram 2500 that was for sale in Maryland, not boston

I had the exact same experience. I responded to an ad on Facebook Marketplace for a 2000 Winnebago Rialta. I too got an email from [email protected]. She wrote a similar sob story, how her husband had recently died and she wanted to sell it ASAP. The Rialta was also being sold by Vescony, Inc. She wrote that the RV was being stored in Maine in an EBay warehouse, and that EBay would be handling the transaction.

Next, I got an email from [email protected] stating that Maria listed me as the potential buyer and the email (which had eBay’s logo on it) gave me specific details to pay, asking for me to pay using eBay gift cards to “protect us both”. The “eBay invoice “ also had the VIN number of the RV and the phone number to “eBay motor sales “. I called the number and an Indian man answered. I told him that it’s weird that you couldn’t pay with your Paypal account. When questioning him, he became very agitated and I ask to speak to his manager and he hung up on me. When I called back, the number had been disconnected! Now I’m stuck with Amazon gift cards!

P. S. I just saw the same RV for sale in Bridgeport CT and in Boston. Hopefully they’ll be taken down!

- Wakefield, MA, USA

I saw a listing on Facebook Market Place for a mobile camper, this one was a 1992 Toyota Winnebago. It was listed by a 'dealer' out of Boston, yet when I messaged the seller they directed me, via Facebook Messenger, to email [email protected]. I emailed "Maria" and she gave a sob story about why she had to sell her beloved camper and that she has moved but the camper is being held in a warehouse by eBay for her safety and mine. She also suggested that the price for the camper was $2000, not the $1000 as listed on Facebook Marketplace. I began to suspect something fishy happening so I said I wasn't interested and left it as is. I looked at Facebook Marketplace the next day and noticed another very low priced camper for sale from Vescony Inc, the same dealer as before, and had my friend message them. The exact same message was sent by Vescony Inc, except, this time they changed the email to [email protected], yes they changed it to a 5. I knew now that this had to be a scam so I looked at Facebook Marketplace and searched campers and found at least 3 more listings from Vescony Inc. I assume that the exact same scenario to be produced from each interaction.
