This woman, calling yourself Maris Clark, contacted me via the app WhatsApp to ask me if I would be interested in a 'one hour per week ' very high paying job. I asked her what type of work it was and she skirted the answer. I didn't think that she had any idea about what I did for my career. She said that the job was super easy and could be done from home on my phone or computer. I pushed for more details as I've received these kinds of calls before and she explained that it involved increasing the value of products on line that were being marketed.
I told her that it didn't sound like something that I was well suited to doing. However, she insisted that it was extremely easy to do and that I could make lots of money in just an hour per week plus lots of bonus income. I still said that it wasn't up my alley. But she didn't give up. I asked about how much it would pay and exactly by what type of method the company paid the employees. She told me that we would be paid in a type of Bitcoin that I'd never heard of. I then asked many questions about how that could be exchanged for US dollars that could be deposited in one's bank account. Maris avoided that question by saying that we would discuss that later. But it was a very simple process and I shouldn't worry about it. (Meaning that I should!)
She was eager to get me started registering for the training so I could quickly see if this kind of work was something that I was interested in doing. Fortunately, because I had been forced to buy a new cell phone the week before and it had been causing many problems due to the complexity of registering new passwords, I wasn't able to fill out the registration form and I stopped dead in the process the second that I noticed it was going to ask for my Social Security number. At that point, I told Maris that I wouldn't be able to complete the form because of the password problems I was having. I said that I would need to go to my mobile carrier store and speak to them about how to fix these issues.
I didn't indicate that it was actually my reluctance to provide her (or anyone else with my Social Security number). She was seemingly understanding about my situation with my passwords. I told her that I would message her when I had worked it out.
She has contacted me over a dozen times to attempt to continue the onboarding process since last week. In the meantime, I've asked her a dozen questions about the company, including where it's located, why I couldn't find it on the internet and several other obvious things an employee would want to know. She couldn't answer anything to my satisfaction and instead sent me a photo of a paper with the heading (but no address or business phone number) saying the company name. I didn't mention that it didn't cut it for me.
I searched the Better Business Bureau Website for complaints and reports, but thus far have failed to find anything. I also asked Marin how she came across my name. She mentioned the name of a woman who was a CNP (Nurse Practitioner) whom I'd never heard of. I resisted the temptation, at that moment, to.tell her that I had no idea who that person was. The truth is that I haven't been in Albuquerque or the US for very long and don't have many friends here. I've lived in Hong Kong for most of my life and in Mexico for a number of years as well as in several other countries. I did tell her a couple of days ago that I had no idea who.that person was. She didn't seem bothered by it at all. Its probably not the first time that's happened to her. I have a feeling that she's accustomed to having this happen to her and just lets it blow over like she confuses which person had recommended someone because she has so many employees and it happens all the time. But it didn't fool me. I think that she's a fraud and this is a phony business. She's just waiting for me to spill my personal information so that she and whomever is her partner in this business can attempt to get into my bank accounts and credit cards.
I wish that I could see what kind of fake job they've come up with to train me to do. However, by then it would be too late and I'm sure that they'd have what info they needed to scam me already.
I'm amazed that there aren't other reports of people having been contacted by this company because it does show up on the internet. However, no complaints have been received as far as I can tell.

The company contacted me about a data optimization work from home job. They texted me then a different lady messaged me on Whats App. I then created a login on their website to start the training. once the training was completed i started the tasks, which was around 45 tasks , 3 sets of tasks a day. during the middle of the task, I was asked to deposit funds of my own to make up for the negative in my Wallet on the website of my “Advanced task” that was promoted as Lucky to get because it pays higher commission and after you deposit the funds, which kept increasing each day on this advanced task, i was told the funds would go back into my wallet to be paid on the task. No job should ever require you to deposit your own money in order to do the job. My first task stole 53USD then 70 USD then the task i quit on was asking me to deposit $435. VERTIFY was the name of company and when you search online they do actually have a real website, so it’s deceiving

Called at 2:11 am. Recorded voice gave a code repeated code then said goodbye. I don't know what the code is for. No name or call back number gave. CI said 717-707-3350 and Verify. It has to be a scammer calling in the middle of the night. Second call I received within 9 hours.
