My wife was in a rearend accident on the freeway, velocity towing was driving by (we didnot call them nor did the CHP who took information for the report) she clearly told them we have AAA. They had the AAA sticker logo on the side of the truck. They pretended to call to verify our membership and called their towyard to voice record her in agreeing to tow her car to the yard instaed of using the AAA membership. When we called to have the car towed to a repair shop they told us, we had to pay $1460 for the tow and car hold to get our car back before they released the car to auction the next day. They never used our AAA. My wife was on the phone for a week dealing with this false representation they did by their driver, the velocity manager took $300 off. AAA will tow your car depending on your membership to a repair shop. What we were told after from AAA. We are still disputing false charges from velocity towing.
