I answered a phone call and replied "yes" before remembering that it was a scam.

- Moses Lake, WA, USA

The robo voice said that they were calling about an expired vehicle warranty and wanted to know if I wanted more information I said yes and immediately they hung up. I tried to call them back and it asked if I wanted to put be put on the do not call list and no one answered the phone. It all sounds very fishy to me

They claim to be calling you about my vehicle's warranty, they told me to say yes to speak with a representative so I did in order to tell them to take me off their calling list. Then I realized as soon as I said yes they hung up on me and I was had.

Automated recording said "this is regarding your vehicle warranty, if you'd like to speak with a warranty specialist say yes". After saying yes, the line was disconnected. Likely part of the scam to record "yes" as an authorization.

- Cicero, IN, USA

Received dozens of calls from different numbers saying that my vehicle warranty is about to expire, would you like to talk to a Customer Service Representative. When i said 'yes', it clicked off. I suppose they just wanted to record my 'yes'.

- Grosse Pointe, MI, USA

they have called many times and it is always "hi, this is susie", recorded voice asking about vehicle warranty. when you respond in a positive manner to this "susie" you get connected to a human who thinks they are going to sell you a vehicle warranty. this number works so it should be easy to determine where exactly they are. the number is not spoofed or it would not go through. 901-267-0179.

find them and shut them down.

AUTOMATED MESSAGE CALLS AND KEEPS CALLING. SAYING THEY SENT ME A FINAL NOTICE ON MY VEHICLES WARRANTY. USUALLY I HANG UP THE CALL. I FINALLAY GOT TIRED OF THEM CALLING AND WHEN ASKED IF I WANTED TO SPEAK TO A REPRESENTATIVE I REPLIED "YES" TO HAVE THEM TAKE ME OFF THERE LIST. AND THEN THE CALL HANGS UP.

- Hebron, NE, USA

Received call advising vehicle warranty was expiring and asked if I wanted to speak with a warranty representative.

- Clay Center, KS, USA

stated vehicle warranty expired did not specify type of vehicle I did not respond with a yes and was disconnected at that time

- Richland, MI, USA

The above number called with a recording/robo call saying that they have made several attempts to contact me regarding the warranty that was going to expire on my vehicle and then asked if I wanted to speak to someone about it and I said "Yes" not thinking and it asked again. When I pressed a number since me saying "yes" didn't transfer me, it disconnected. I am hoping this isn't the new scam where they record you saying yes and then start signing me up for anything.
