My daughter has been getting email correspondence from an email claiming to be Vatterott (that was closed back a few years ago), and is asking for information and increments of the outstanding balance of roughly 5k. The thing that made us uneasy was that the forms they would send are blank and asking for info they should have if they were indeed who they said they were. I did some research on the street address and phone numbers listed and found the address is a condo and the number is local, despite the condo being in chicago. This is for sure a scam. They also have mention of a company called synergy and associates in the email, but does not elaborate their connection. We are going to check the credit businesses and see what we can find out.
