I placed an order for quilts from Vantique.net, but they did not come in as described on the website. I emailed [email protected] for a refund and an address to send the items back. I requested either a 30% refund or a full refund with me paying for shipping and handling.

- Effort, PA, USA • Sep 06, 2025

We purchased a "beautiful plush comforter" or so we thought. It got to us and was incredibly cheap material. Thin as paper. And a computer printed design, not a quilted design. Not even the same colors ordered. Terrible quality. For $167.13 it's disgusting we got ripped off. This place is a horrible scam. Gave me all sorts of problems when I offered to return it back to them for a monetary return. Awful.

- Lewiston, UT, USA

This company sells quilts that look like they have been beautifully sewn and quilted. However, when it arrived the fabric is a picture of the quilt shown, poorly machine stitched. In addition there is no batting inside the quilt and the backing color and material is of extremely poor quality. When I tried to get it refunded they offered me 30% of the purchase price even though I contacted them as soon as I received it. I can keep the product. For a full refund I would need to return the product to 132 Gaolong West Road, Kaku Shang Zhonggao City, Gaobu Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, 523084.
The shipping to send it back costs as much as the quilt did. If you look at the reviews on facebook, you will find many complaints. The review on their website are not accurate.

- Simi Valley, CA, USA

I ordered a Canyon Dreaming Quilted Blanket queen size on line, through google. with shipping protection and compostable packaging. The email or contact us at [email protected] does not work. So I tried the website listed . Https://www.17track.net/ states this link is broken. There is no way to connect with these people. I ordered on July 14th, the system still states on its way July 18th,2025. This company is a scam.

- Los Angeles, CA, USA

This website and company are maliciously and willfully deceiving consumers by deceptively advertising products they do not provide and by representing themselves as an American company, which they are not. I purchased a quilt from Vantique.net, which on their website states that they are "an American quilt and patchwork design company," with an address in Washington DC. On their website, Vantique states that their quilts are "Handcrafted with love". None of this is true. I received a cotton, paper-thin blanket with poor stitching and a faded printed image that bore no resemblance to the original product being advertised on their website. The product I received was not a hand-stitched quilt but a mass-produced cotton blanket with a faded image and erratic sewing patterns that tried to pass as stitching. Buyer beware! This company is a scam!

SCAM ALERT STAY AWAY FROM VANTIQUE
placed an order for a queen sized quilted bedspread, and a table runner. what I received as printed material with a sewing machine run over it.
False advertisement... WHAT THEY ARE SELLING ARE NOT QUILTS. and not worth them monies they get out of you. TOTAL RIP OFF.

- Painesville, OH, USA

Their site stated the custom make quilts. They are show they are here in the USA. They added shipping protection to my order and I could not remove it and the supposedly sent it in a compostable package, it was a plastic bag. When I received the item it was a piece of fabric with a similar image of what I wanted stamped on it the stitching to make it similar to a quilt. The border they stitched to it was coming off the minute I opened the package. I contacted them to get my money back. They said they cannot because their site said there would be a 20% variation in the product. This is not posted on the site or I would not have ordered it. I paid for this through PayPal and we are trying to get most of my money back. I check out the company and they still scammed me.

- Tolleson, AZ, USA

I purchased on 04/10/2025 two bed blankets for $233.00 from https://vantique.net/ and I never received the two items purchased!
They do not have a phone number for a contact and on their web site it shows an address of 5335 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015 USA [email protected]. They lie that they will mail you your purchased items and they never did! This is a scam company where they take your money and do not give refunds! They need to be stopped this is fraud in every level! It is hard to really contact anyone with their email of [email protected]

OMG...one step short of a scam. They look nothing like what is in the picture, not quilted. It's only a picture printed on a flat surface. Really, really ugly and very cheap looking. They do not give any returns for poor product quality and they say they give customer satisfaction guarantee but they don't. Never buy from them. BEWARE!

- Lufkin, TX, USA

When I received the order, I immediately emailed them asking for a refund. The “quilt” I received was touted to be hand-stitched or embroidered but in fact is a very low resolution image of the quilt printed on a single piece of fabric. The larger the quilt (i.e. king), the less definition. The “quilt” is paper-thin and not what we expected. Their response was to ask for verification of their shipping it to me and pictures or videos so they could check with their manufacturer. Their next email “reported the issue to our specialized department”. Their next email was giving me options on how to resolve the issue - NONE of which were acceptable to me (30% discount or ship the “quilt” at my expense to China for a full refund minus shipping and handling). I emailed them declining their offer. I then demanded a full refund and stated more or less they are scamming customers. Per their website, they can be contacted iat 5335 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20015

Do not buy from this company. The "quilt" I received was a poorly printed photograph on fabric. It wasn't even in focus. There is no policy to return the item when an unsatisfied customer contacts them.

Lesson learned: Always look for reviews before ordering from an unknown company online. Always.

- Saginaw, MI, USA

I purchased what Vantique advertised as a handmade, hand stitched, organic cotton quilt. It looked amazing for the price. I ordered the 3 piece quilt set that came with two pillow covers and a queen sized quilt. I ordered an additional pillow sham for a decorative pillow. I received my order 3 or 4 weeks later and it was a cheap polyester blanket with a printed on image and clearly was machine stitched that looked nothing like what they advertised. It is not a quilt. They falsely advertised a beautiful handmade quilt with elaborate stitching patterns and sold me a crappy blanket with triangular machined stitches that's not even worth $20. I requested a return and refund but they refused to accept a return and refund. After purchasing the "quilt" the charge on my bank statement said "acustomizedgift.com"

- Columbia, MO, USA

They show a picture of a nice quilt.. The item I received was a cheap printed fabric with random stitching. There are multiple complaints all over the internet and a dedicated Facebook page I found too late with warnings of the scam.

- Midlothian, TX, USA

Ordered a small quilt for a gift. On line it was featured as a handmade quilt as the maker was retiring

and would no longer be making quilts. It is a machine made quilt probably made in China. The quality

is very inferior, is tacky and cheap. Had a seven day return period. Company was contacted upon arrival.

Their reply said their policy to refund was only if product is damaged. After several emails with their customer

service, they denied a refund. Their ad was very deceptive!!! It isn't the money, they do not need to scam others.

- San Antonio, TX, USA

They falsely advertised their products are handmade and quilted and when I received the product is was not that. They sent a cheaply made blanket with no quilting at all. It was a digitally printed picture on the blanket. Sadly I’m not the only one that got scammed. There’s tons of other people that did too.
