US Diagnostic Laboratories Inc. Reports & Reviews (132)

- Franklin, WI, USA

The week of June 15th, I received a phone call from Amanda from U.S. Diagnostics Labs informing me that I have an overdue bill for $400 from lab work on 4/23/18. She could not tell me the name of the hospital or doctor that performed the tests and could not send me an invoice. She stated that they sent me several copies of the invoices which I did not get; she was able to tell me my address. I further checked my insurance records and my USPS Informed Delivery records and there was no record of the lab work or mail delivery. She further informed me that because the account was now in collections, she could only take the payment over the phone.

Got a call today from a local phone number saying that I had a judgement against me from US Diagnostic Laboratories and I had blood work done April 1st, 2018 and had not paid. They said I would be reported if I did not pay $389.52. I called my docotrs office to verify and I did not have any blood work done anywhere near that time, and there were no payments past due of any kind. I called back and they answered but did not give anymore details, just asked me to pay my bill. I refused. Another detail, they said they were out of Santa Barbara CA and the phone number was out of Willsonville, OR. They had my phone number, address....no other personal information was given.

I received a collection call last week from Consumer Collections. Their phone number is 216-293-6897. They were calling to collect a past due bill for US Diagnostics Lab. Service was on April 15, 2018 for $424.88. I questioned what it was for. They said blood work. A lab bill. They gave a doctors license number. I don't think they should give a doctors license number. It does not match my doctors number. Would not give the doctors name. I think it is a fake debt collection call. I did call them back. They said they will report it to the credit bureau. I had never received statements from US Diagnostics.

I got a call from Consumer Collections demanding payment for a medical testing bill that wasn't covered by my insurance. I was told that numerous notices were mailed (to my correct address) but I never responded, so it was sent to collections for a judgment. They said it would be reported to 3 different agencies and would stain my credit rating for 7 years if I didn't make a payment immediately. Sensing a scam, I pressed for more info and was told I owed $391.55 to U.S. Diagnostic Lab for testing done on 4/11/18. I asked to be sent another copy of the bill but the agent said she wasn't authorized to do that. I gave her authorization but she refused to mail me a copy so I also asked for a phone number for U.S. Diagnostic Lab. She started yelling that she would file the judgment today and she didn't feel bad about it because I don't pay my bills. I did not have any medical tests in April 2018, verified by my calendar and health insurance claims. Definitely a scam! Beware!!

Repeated calls from Consumer Collections 971.224.6007 regarding a debt I have never incurred or owe to US Diagnostic Laboratories. Consumer Collections calls monthly for a debt I don't owe. THIS IS A SCAM.

I have received 4 calls. Each time I receive a call, the balance due is different. They use the same date of service, which is not a date that I have had labs drawn. The 1st call, the gentleman provided no information other than the balance due and wanted me to pay via credit card over the phone without providing me any documentation. The 2nd call, the gentleman was rude and abusive. The 3rd call, the gentleman advised that several notices were mailed to me. I asked what address the invoices were mailed to and he could not provide me with my correct address, then hung up on me. The 4th call (today 04-13-2020 - Jackie was the representative) provided me with a physician license #, then hung up on me. I attempted to look up the physician name using the number Jackie provided - no such license associated with any physician in Oregon.

I have called my doctors and inquired about the laboratory providers they use and confirmed that US Diagnostic Laboratories is not a lab they use. Internet search of US Diagnostic Laboratories shows it's located in Florida.

My father-in-law received an email from "John Bennett" [email protected] saying he owed $391.04 for an old diagnostic bill from 4/25/2018. Had an invoice # and bloodwork information so it looked legitimate at first glance. The email said it was from US Diagnostic Laboratories, Inc from Santa Barbara CA. At the bottom of the email is said it was from Consumer Collections, Inc. (they provided a license # 9001630) and address etc.

My mother-in-law called the number on the email and they said if they don't pay they will have credit issues. When asked if they could mail a copy of the bill, they said they already mailed several copies and they can't mail anymore because it has personal information.

They then called us to get our opinion. The email is from @gmail and is not a business email which told me right away this was a scam. I then looked up all three companies on the email with ScamPulse.com and none of the companies were listed.

Just want to warn others to not fall prey to this scam.

This happened to me too. I fell for it. I called the credit agency and told them I wanted my money back. I'm never going to see it.

I received a call from John at Consumer Collections. They were trying to collect $372.14 from a past due bill for "laboratory" work that took place in Feb of 2018, he said they have sent several notifications to my home, and he recited my address. I asked John for the account number, and a call back number. I tried googling Consumer Collections, could not find them on line. I called John back, asked him for his company name again, what could I look up on line, he said they do not have an internet presence. As a collection agency, he said they are not required to. I asked him to send me hardcopy of the bill and amount due, he insisted that he COULD NOT do that until AFTER they had started the collection process, and this was just a courtesy call to obtain payment before they had to go to that next stage of actually beginning the collection process. He told me about the bad credit rating that I was going to get, the 35% additional late fees, etc. I asked John again who the bill was from - he said US Diagnostic Laboratories. I hung up, and googled US Diagnostic Labs. They are located in Chicago. I called them, and asked about my outstanding bill. The person who answered the phone, said to please ignore, they have no bill for me, this is a scam, and they have received MANY calls from people trying to figure out what bill they had.

Same story! Exactly

They are giving me the time of service and test rendered but will not send me a copy of the invoice. They state the company has sent me 7 bills with no response. I haven't seen any bills. Stated they could not send me a bill or invoice it was against federal law. This is supposed to be for Lab work from a company names US Diagnostics. I call US Diagnostics out of Chicago they stated it was a scam. I called around to all my doctors they state they do not use this company. Contact person is Wesley Jackson Bill requesting is $ 394.66 I tried to pay with my Flex card and it has the security it wouldn't let it go. I know nothing about this debt nor have I ever received any bill in regards to this debt .

I received a call today from ** at Consumer Collections saying I had a bill from April 2018 in the amount of $385.54 which had been turned over to them for collection. I explained that I never had any unpaid medical bills or notices and had to insist that she give me the name of the facility. She finally relented saying it was ** but refused to give me an address or phone number for them.

I started calling my doctors and labs and was advised that it was none of them. I checked everything I can think of. My doctors office advised that for medical collections collection agencies had to provide the info from the source.

When I called back for more info a man answered and was very threatening and intimidating promising a legal judgement and huge additional fees if I didn’t pay.

I did not pay.

I also contacted ** and they said it was a scam.

I received a call from Paris at Consumer Collections telling me I had a medical bill from U.S. Diagnostic Lab for $408 that was 2 years overdue. She said she could prevent it from becoming a legal problem if I paid all or some of it right then over the phone with a VISA debit card or Mastercard debit card or e-check. She said she couldn't send me a copy of the bill. I called the lab and they told me it was a scam and to not pay the bill.

Mark from Consumer collections called me on a Friday from Phone number 541-640-7275 and told me that I had an outstanding bill from Medical Diagnostics of Oregon for $350. He said that it was a out of my providers network so I owed the entire amount. It was odd to me because it dated back to March of 2017 and knowing hospital and the way they work, I would have seen several bills and gotten a call from the billing dept before I was turned into collections. I told him there was no way that I had any outstanding debt nor had I received any bills from this company. He assured me that I did and that this was a courtesy call. I called all of my doctors offices, my insurance company and I called the Medical Diagnostics, LLC, all of which informed me that I had nothing owing to any of them. The Medical Diagnostic place also informed me that they had several other people call regarding the same issue and told me not to pay them if they sent a bill. I have contacted the Department of Justice Scam and Fraud section, the Better Business Bureau and also the National Do Not Call Registry to report this. I also tried looking the company up on-line and there was nothing by that name or in the area of Gresham, which is where he said he was out of.
