Type of a scam Employment

I applied for multiple job offers on indeed.com (employment website) , sent over my resumes via the site. I had then received an email from this guy called "danielle hall" who claimed to run a company called ucs limo in united states and canada, giving a long paragraph explaining himself and what the job position would entail. He stated he was out of the country and that i would be responsible for a couple of errands while he was away. He said the job would offer $500 a week and consequently asked me to fill out my personal information onto my next email. I had filled out my last name first name address nationality personal phone number and home phone number. Then he sent me a confirmation stating he recieved it and that he was going to send me a check of about $3000 to buy toys for kids for a charity. From that point i knew i didnt want any part in this, so i refused to respond to the email further. Then he sent me an email yesterday saying that he sent out a check to me. I then sent him a response via mail saying that i do not wish to have this job and for him to find someone else. Then he messaged me today via phone asking me how im doing. I then asked him if he got my email and for him to stop contacting me.
