I provided two months of weekly pool service for Turtle Vacations, LLC at the request of Mechele Duhamel at her residence. Before starting, we agreed on a monthly service rate, which I have in writing via text message. She acknowledged the service on an ongoing basis by confirming her dog was put away prior to each scheduled visit — further confirming she was aware and accepting of the work being done.

Despite sending invoices each month and multiple follow-up reminders, she has refused to pay for the services rendered. I made several attempts to resolve the matter professionally and directly, but she has ignored all communication. I am now preparing to file a claim in small claims court to recover the amount owed.

This pattern of behavior — agreeing to services, accepting them, and then refusing to pay — is unethical and exploitative, especially toward small businesses. I am filing this complaint so others can be aware of this situation before entering into a business relationship with her.
