I missed the initial call and a voicemail was left for me. She left a call back name and number of Elena Collins at 949-535-2696. When I called her back, I reached what sounded like a "foreign" call center. I asked for the name given & was given to a lady who represented herself at first as being from the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas and was calling to confirm that we were still attending. She asked questions about number attending and said that they were trying to make sure we had rooms allotted for our company.

It never got to the point of asking for financial information, but I know it was going there. I told her I would just have to call her back.

The National Hardware Show website now shows an alert that these scam calls has begun.
