Tony, of Tony's Auto. Tech. has a shop at this business location. Tony lives in my neighborhood and passes my house on his way to Tony's Auto Tech. I meet Tony at the comer store a block from my house. I am retired and asked Tony if he needed some part time help. He asked if I had experience I told him I did not, that I was interested in maybe cleaning or something like that. He took my number and called me several days later and said he could use some help. I thought this was great and said yes to his offer.

I had worked several weeks for Tony and everything seemed fine, then one day he had me sanding on a car he had in his shop, he then explained that he needed me to loosen several bolts on the exhaust system on the underside (both sides ) of the car. The car was suspended in the air on a portable type lift system. At the time I thought nothing of it I trusted Tony's judgement and had no problem with his request. Before I started working underneath this car Tony said he was going to his house and would return soon. He had also instructed me by all means do not let the car down from the lift Tony left me alone and I started to loosen the bolts on the exhaust system which required me to get up underneath the car and work for about 30 minutes to an hour. Not realizing how dangerous this was because this lift was not designed for someone to trust this lift system while working underneath the vehicle. This lift was only supported with some hydraulic hoses and if one of these hoses had ruptured the car would have came crashing down on me while I had my body completely up underneath this vehicle. That night when I realized what I had done I was then scared of this man (Tony) when he came to get me the next day I refused to go back to his shop. Tony has been in the Auto repair business for 40 plus years and knew how dangerous this was possibly deadly outcome. I have seen Tony after that at the same corner store he knew what he had done and seemed to be mocking me for being so gullible and risking my life to simply loosen a few bolts on the car exhaust system.

I would like to warn people of this man and his business before he does this to another unsuspecting person, possible killing someone
