I contacted this number in regards to a home for rent, I received a call from a foreign man right away, he asked for my email address so he can send the application. When I received the application there was an ID of a African American man named Tony Moses.
I searched the address on Zillow and it’s listed under a different name and number.

Socialserve imposter

I found his listing on socialserve. He asked me to meet him at the property and then never showed up. He told me I could go inside and look. I decided I loved it and called Tony back. He then asked for my name, email and venmo username. I gave him my name and email but not venmo. He became offended and kept hanging up on me before deciding to “disregard” my hesitancy. He sent me two photos of his photo ID which was creepy and weird so I decided to call the leasing agency that I saw on the sign in the front yard of the property and the leasing agency knew nothing of him.

I found him on the Houston housing website I viewed a home but someone moved in he stated he had other properties I can look at. He told me I had to pay a deposit and application fee 550 for the home I was interested in, he also stated I had to pay a non refundable fee for 250 dollars. He also stated the prorated rent was 400 dollars and needed to be paid before we move in.
