Thunder Kim Reports & Reviews (1)

The man named "Thunder Kim" in Omaha, Nebraska is a street vendor that sells dead bonsai trees for $50+. He never stays in the same location, a simple Google search of "Thunder Bonsai" or "Thunder Kim" will show up with nothing, he does not have an official website, he doesn't provide a receipt, and he doesn't provide a phone number. By the time you realize you've been scammed by pretty much buying a dead stick in some potting soil and rocks, he will be gone and you will never see him in the same location twice. It is a classic scam. He tries to tell buyers to keep the bonsai trees inside when all online resources say that this an incorrect way to care for these plants. The reason being that the trees are already dead, and if you store them outside, they will wither and dry up faster than if you kept them inside. Thus, you would think the plant died due to care problems on your end, not that it was already dead when purchased. When I tried to provide proof and dispute this matter with my credit card since there is no way to contact the vendor, he reported to them that the goods were received and "in good condition".
