In mid April I called 352 267-7788, a number listed on a truck that identified itself as Thomas Scott Roofing doing repairs next door, as Even though I had no leaks I wanted to make sure my roof wasn’t damaged. The next day an elderly man came to my house as scheduled and spent several minutes stomping all over my roof. I remember thinking that if I didn’t have damage, I would after his actions. My late husband and I had owned over twenty properties and replaced roofs in our fifty years together.
This morning (5/4/25) it poured and my roof is leaking in the master bathroom over the toilet area.
The promised paperwork and pictures of the damage the elderly man said I had never arrived. I researched Thomas Scott Roofing Company and learned that it had been sold over a year ago.
