Type of a scam Online Purchase

I received a phone call regarded a past due amount from the beginning of the year (which I never agreed too nor spoke to anyone of this company) and was threatened that legal action would be taken if it was not paid. When I asked for an email copy of the old invoice they advised me they could not send it as they were mailing them out only at the time as it was a cheaper alternative to emailing as they were just starting out (makes no sense). What they did instead is send me an invoice with the most recent date (date the phone call was made on October 18, 2022) through email which does not make sense as I did not agree to anything over the phone and also asked for all supporting documents (voice recording and previous contract which I did not receive a reply too) of my supposed previous agreement. The email the invoice was sent with also stated that if I made payment by credit card I would receive an $80.00 discount. I have never heard a discount with credit purchases as I run a business myself and credit purchases have a 2.5 percent charge already. ****** (the person I spoke too) was extremely rude when I was challenging her on what she was accusing me of. The address is a P.O Box and they also text through a software that coverts it to email. Please advise other businesses of this as we work hard for our money and don’t need scammers to try to take that away from us with no services given.
