I found kittens advertised for sale on www.thecommunitysiamesekittenshome.com. I reach out to them via the contact form on their website. I received an email response from [email protected] asking for addition details (i.e. do I own any other pets, what kitten am I interested in, etc.). They also texted me from 1-213-267-0527 to let me know they emailed me more info. After answer all their questions, they said I was approved to adopt and we could start the process. They requested a $680 payment via Zelle to [email protected] (Jonquiesha Scott). $500 for the kitten and $180 for the cost to transport her from CA to CO where I am located. Shortly after paying them, I received a call from the 'courier company' (1-415-295-6371) saying they need an additional, partially refundable $1520 for a special crate to ship the kitten. I also received an emails from them requesting the same (sent from [email protected] with a link to https://citizenspetshippers.com/). They wanted payment sent via Zelle to [email protected] Audree Burgett-whitson) I declined to send the payment and they told me I had to get in contact with the seller. I tried calling the seller from the number they texted from but they wouldn't answer. Finally they texted, trying to reassure me and pressure me to pay the $1520. I kept refusing, asking for a refund of the initial $680 I sent. They have been unresponsive to my continued attempts at contact asking for a refund.
