I just tried calling you but I’m just curious, what do you mean the Atlantic Group looks very questionable? We are a Recruiting firm that is partnered with Charles River Labs who is hiring for a Security position in Reno, NV. If you are interested, then please let me know as I would like to speak with you about the role as you have a great resume.

The above statement was in response to my declining to talk further about a supposedly open security position at Charles River Labs. I have done research about Charles River Labs partners and The Atlantic Group was not listed. Furthermore, a company like Charles River Labs would either directly interview and hire their own In-house security or contract with an Independent Contractor security service, neither of which would likely use a Temp Agency for hiring!

Shortly after that email to express disappointment, I received a scam text message at my phone number addressed to previous owner of my number, which I forwarded to 7726. The message was: Pam Koenig We have an important legal matter that directly concerns you. Call us directly at 866-384-1637 and refer to file # 60980

I have learned to follow my gut instinct. From the moment I received that invitation on Indeed, my gut was just tingling away and telling me that it was a scam job offer!

They called my husband at work and myself on my cell phone saying there were allegations against me and trying to get my personal information. I asked to talk to a manager or supervisor and they started speaking to me inappropriately and would not get a manager for me saying I would waste their time. I told them I would be reporting them to the ScamPulse.com and warning everyone via social media. She said "do what you have to do". It is completely wrong for a company to call my husband at work and tell him there are allegations out against me. I hope you can do something and give zero rating to this company or stop their fraud.

I believe they attempted to take money by trying to get my personal information.

I have previously posted on this same scam (Oct 26, 2015) "The Atlantic Group" called me with a different phone number, 1-844-604-5265 (previously 1-800-250-5831), the message gave me a number to refer to. The SAME one as before. I called them back because I was sitting at my desk at work when they called. And When he told me who he was calling for, I told him I know it is a scam and that I have reported them to a umber of Fraud Agencies. He then taunted me that I called them back so I told him how terrible it is what they are doing and yes, swore a little, he then told me he was going to call my father and tell him "what a big [censored] mouth his daughter has". I said go ahead, he'll say the same thing and he hung up on me.

Called me claiming I owed a payday loan which I do not and said they would report back to their client Highland Holdings and they would be sending me a summons to go to court and I would be civilly & criminally prosecuted. They had a quite a bit of my personal information and wanted me to settle for a 1/3 of what I allegedly owed. The left several voice mail messages on my cell phone only saying my name and giving me a claim # to use when I called them back. I pulled my credit report to see if someone had fraudulently used my information to get a payday loan but there was nothing about this company on my credit report anywhere. Total Scam and Fraud!
