My husband purchased a ferret for a Christmas gift for $250.00. The company said they were running a 50% off special for the shipping. The seller requested the money be sent by Zelle. The money was sent and then we did not hear anything again until the day of travel/shipping. We received a confirmation from Pet Swift Travel with a time of pick up at our local airport. The shippers name listed is Edgardo Barron @ 1009 Sacramento, San Antonia, TX. At 1:30, just a few hours from the pick up time, we received an urgent email stating the ferret was on hold at the airport and we needed to pay a "refundable" deposit of $550 for a heated crate because of the temperature change. We live in Colorado, and it is December, this should have been discussed ahead of time. And at the time of purchase we were told she would be shipped in the cabin and not in the cargo area so this put up a red flag. Like the seller, Pet Swift Travel also wanted their money sent via Zelle. Thankfully, our local airport is not very big and we were able to talk to someone. We were told that cats and dogs are the only animals allowed to ship in the cabin area. We then tried to contact the number that was given to us by the seller. Disconnected, of course. When my husband responded to the email about using a credit card to pay for the freight all communication stopped. Trying to contact the "shipping" company is just as hard as trying to contact the seller. There is no phone number listed and the address listed on the shipping company website is listed to a different business in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a scam! Do not do business with these people.

I purchased 2 sugar gliders online from Tamed Exotics for $400, they said they were running a 50 % off deal on shipping so shipping was only $50 each, for a total of $500. They wanted me to send the money via Zelle asap, and then they would email the sales contract to me. They also wanted me to send them a snip of the confirmation of my money transfer. So I did that, they emailed me back right away and said my bank put a hold on the money and I had to call my bank to have them remove the hold, and then email them back after I did that. In other words they wanted the money NOW. So they eventually got the money, they emailed the sales contract to me and signed it and sent it back. This was on a Monday and we agreed to have them shipped on a Friday when we would be home to receive the sugar gliders. They said they would email the shipping information once they ship them. Friday morning I got the shipping information, it was just a confirmation and an estimated time of arrival of 4 pm. There was no flight information, no airport names, no cities of departure or arrival, no nothing, very strange. Then, about 1:30 in the afternoon, I get an Urgent! email form the shipper, Ocean Air Way, and they want another "refundable" $650-$1600 for a different crate just to ship 2 Sugar Gliders because of a temperature change! The sugar gliders need a special crate now to keep them warm because wherever they are there's a temperature change. Huh? There was no mention of this in the "sales agreement", and if it's "refundable" upon delivery of my pets, why ask for it in the first place? Also, what kind of temperature change requires this? I've never heard of such a thing, maybe because it's a scam? So I asked Tamed Exotics and Ocean Air Way where my pets were, that I've already paid for and therefore own so I could go pick them up instead of paying this ridiculous "refundable" fee, I was told that information is sensitive information, and the shipper never releases it? And it's against the shipper's policy to release the pets like that. What? You mean a customer can't track their pets when they're shipped? I mean c'mon, when a human being flies on a plane it's public information, but not 2 sugar gliders, really? You expect me to believe that? I asked several times where they were and they would never tell me. I also said this ridiculous fee was never mentioned in their sales agreement and by charging me for it, they've broken their agreement, to which they would not answer. I then asked for a refund several times, and then they just quit responding. After they wouldn't tell me where the sugar gliders were, I knew they were never shipped, it's a scam. Anyone reading this, do not buy from these scammers, run them out of business. They violate every moral this country is built on.

I recently tried to purchase a sugar glider of $250 and the shipping costs an extra $100. At the shipping day, the shipping company (Mover-MX, https://movers-mx.com/) which Tamed Exotics said they cooperate for several times, said that I need a temperature regulated crate that needs a $1250 dollar deposit and they'll refund it upon arrival of the glider. After I transfer money to them, they said I need a extra $899 dollar deposit to the animal flying insurance. At the end of the day, I didn't receive the sugar glider nor get any refund. And I try to connect them, but they just disappear!
