In Kansas City , MO a young man who goes by the name of Cash approached my front door. He appeared genuine and had great things to say. I spent $80 on a subscription 8 months ago and have never heard of it or seen it since. It is clearly a scam.

Unfortunately there are people out there who chose to live their life taking from honest hard working people.

We have a person running the same scam right now in Castle Rock (October 28, 2020). Given there is no information on this "Strong Starters LLC" and all there is to validate is person's word, it looks at best suspicious. I did not buy anything myself, but I will warn neighbors for sure.

Public information is available on Colorado SOS. The company is in 'good standing' and represented by Legal Zoom. Also, the woman noted as Owner on said paperwork is a Real Estate Agent in Longmont - also assuming married to one of the sales people [or coincidentally have the same last name].

This was door to door salesperson who told me about his life in Denver, where he moved from and how he was working to improve his life and career options and help his kids. He was selling magazine subscriptions. He was very convincing, seemed genuine, polite, smart and kind. I purchased three subscriptions for kids magazines for 2 years each (he was very convincing) and wrote him a check for $175. It was cashed on February 12th and I have not received any of the magazines, as of April 18th.
